Time-slicing or "sleep"-calls etc.) At the Windows NT Developers Conference last month we were told that there will be a DOS6/Win4 combination that will bring to 16-bit Windows many of the new features of Win32 that are not included currently in Win32s, including multiple threads. One of the MS people I talked to said that the Thread and Multitasking support that windows uses will be located in the DOS kernel. He wouldn't give any more details though. A projected release date is 'shortly after NT is released' which is Dec '92. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Robin P.
