Has anyone used BCCx32 from NSD (Network-Systems Design, Oshkosh WI)?
This is a program which modifies the output of Borland C++ to make huge
pointers very fast. It forces a 386 or greater CPU into real mode and
turns huge pointers into true linear addresses - a 'flat model' pointer.
This allows your program to access as much memory as available in the
machine, with none of the contortions normally needed (swapping chunks
of memory, etc.).
I am considering purchasing this product, so any experiences or opinions
would be appreciated.
Thanks,
