At least I think it's a fat problem. I am running DOS 5.0 on a 386DX33. Was working in an Was working in an application program when was forced to warm boot. After doing so, I got messages that "first allocation unit is invalid, entry truncated" for the file I was working with. The bak file came back as "cross linked on allocation unit 6087" Anyone know what this is all about? Can I recover these files? They seem to be on the hard drive in their proper subdirectories, but I am unable to open or access them - the system just freezes up. Any helps appreciated... Thanks in advance Ron McNutt N.
