Does anyone know how to use VDS (Virtual DMA Specification, supplied by QEMM, EMM-386, etc.)? Can it be used, for instance, to read data from disk into memory & letting the transfer go on while the specified memory block is unmapped (say by a task-switch)? [ If someone can just tell me where to find the VDS docs, it would be even better... ] -az --- Internet: s2861785@tx.technion.ac.il . __ I'M A STUDENT: When I'm wrong, it's my teacher's fault _| / (when I'm right, the credit is all mine!) / | /_ Alon Ziv -- Internet: s2861785@tx.technion.ac.il . __ I'M A STUDENT: When I'm wrong, it's my teacher's fault _| / (when I'm right, the credit is all mine!) / | /_ Alon Ziv
