Somewhat off-kilter question about external devices hooked in via parallel ports (in this case, a wired nintendo powerglove): Is there a way to "redirect" output from my parallel port to a program seeking mouse datad? Basically, I am looking for a way to supply the information that the serial port/mouse/mouse driver provide, via an external parallel device. One solution I thought possible would be to get a hold of assembly mouse driver code, and alter the function calls to get data from the parallel port instead of serial port and mouse driver... that way, the change would be invisible to any mouse using program. Is this possible? If not, is there some feasible way to achieve this? If so, does anyone know of ftp sources for mouse driver assembly code? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks, Matt - no sig, I enjoy getting sued -
