Funny, But I have never heard the words INTEGRITY and NOVELL in the
same discussion except with the words "lack of" :-) <----that's a
smilie

I respect your sensibilities; but I dont share them when it comes to
the particular subject of Novell and Drake testing.

Some Background
I have a Bachelor's from USC in Computer Science. I have been
programming since age 14 (1974). And I am just a light weight
compared to the education and work experiences most of my
ex-co-workers have. So when peace broke out in the early 90's many
experienced programmers and Systems analysts found themselves looking
for work.

Now, concerning Resumes and interviews, there are two route these
experienced people can take:

1. you can tell Emma, the receptionist in Personnel who DECIDES if you
will see her boss or not, that your 10 years at XEROX PARC more than
covers the topic of LANs and a CNE cert. to you would be like a M.D.
needing to pass a junior life guard test.

OR
2. You can take the %^&!!! CNE tests and get it on your resume.

I and many other life-long career software/hardware professionals can
tell you route #1 doesn't work too well. I can also tell you that
it's a slap in face to spend the time learning the novell BRAND's
Local Area Network, go to take a drake test and find yourself taking a
test that uses grammitical tricks like double negatives, and just down
right bad ambigious grammer. Any instructor even on a community
college campus would have hell to pay for the same tatics Drake and
Novell employ on a regular basis. And by the way, THATS the reason
Novell does not tell you the exact questions you got wrong on a test.
