I just took the 50-162 3->4 Update last Monday. It's adaptive, 15-25 
questions, 60 minute time limit. Time wasn't a problem.

Know NDS security, time sync, and how to use NWAdmin. I used the 3 to 4 
Update text by Moncur et al (cover is white with black trim, can't 
remember the publisher), an older NW 4 Admin text from New Riders that 
had a few obsolete util screens, and the CNEQuizr licenced and Big Red 
freebie practice tests.
