Hello,

I have a Netware 4.1 server with all the minimum patches except
libup9/B (I am running libup8).  I have Unix Print Services 2.1
installed and I have it configured for Unix-to-Netware Printing only.
I have tried lipup9 and libupB and found that I had to remove both of
them from the server as they made my existing problem with Unix Print
Services even bigger.  I have even been given a PLPD.NLM(dated Nov.
96) from Novell that is supposed to fix the problems with lipup9.  The
plpd.nlm I am currently running is dated Sept. 96.  

Basiclly using tha LPR command from Lan Workplace for DOS 4.0 to send
a print job to the server dose not always work.  About every three LPR
commands come back Connection Refused.  With no error messages at the
Server Console.  Using libupB and/or the New plpd.nlm only made the
problem more frequent, and made a new error show up at the Lan
Workplace client (Controler Rejected Connection).  The Product Kernel
Screen alson started to give errors with the new pathes (720's and
730's-things like unable to add print codes to file).  I have removed
the patches at this time.

I would like to if anyone else has had similar problems with NFS 2.1
or Unix Print Services.  I am currently working with Novell to resolve
this probloem and feel that they have hit a wall this time.   I know
of one other 4.1 server that has the same problem as the one I am
working on.
