pcAnywhere is good for remote control, and also allows for the downloading of files to the remote PC. The problem is that many people forget to put the PC into Host Mode before they leave the office. A better solution is remote access. I use a 3Com Accessbuilder 2000 and a USR 28.8 modem. The AB 2000 has four ports and costs about as much as a new PC.
