I get this message on the console of my Netware 3.12 server (also as a broadcast to the user involved). I'm aware of the SET MAXIMUM OUTSTANDING NCP SEARCHES entry in AUTOEXEC.NCF - as I have no entry I presume the setting is 51. However I don't understand why the problem occurs only one PC - a 386/25 running Windows 3.1- and has only started to occur in the past 3 weeks with no obvious cause. The problem tends to occur when a user opens or closes File Manager. Thanks for any advice.
