(I don't have an email address for the author.) Speaking as the site that wrote the utility, the error (as lame as it is) is that the program can't initialize the Unicode tables. It is the "fault" of the NetWare APIs. It will search for the Unicode table files in this manner: 1) Looks for a directory NLS in the same directory as the program resides. For example, if you put the HOME.EXE into the SYS:PUBLIC directory it will work because the unicode files are in SYS:PUBLIC\NLS 2) The Unicode files reside in the same directory as the appliation (I think this program just uses the *.001 files) 3) The NLS directory is on the search path (ie, MAP INS S8:=SYS:PUBLIC\NLS) Jim [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] James Drews drews@engr.wisc.edu NetWare System Programmer or drews@cae.wisc.edu Computer Aided Engineering University of Wisconsin - Madison (608) 265-3312
