DPT controllers strike again!!

We have just upgraded from 4.01 to 4.1.
Now taking the server down never succeeds but sits with many scrolling
errors about unable to write to FAT. 
Also if we just dismount a volume the server never returns from the
dismount command.

The server is patched with PT1 and IT4

Any ideas??
