The 3C590 seems to work just fine in a couple of AST Manhattan P/60 servers at our site. The card supports any valid Ethernet frame type to my knowledge - we use Ethernet_II exclusively with no problems. Maximum Physical Receive Packet Size should be set to 1524 for Ethernet per the latest Netware info I've seen.
