We are using 3.12 and RPRINTER to share a HP Laserjet III in the office. When a user issues the RPRINTER command, the PC sends a few characters of garbage to the printer and we have to take it off-line and reset it. Is there a way to execute RPRINTER without sending this garbage to the printer. Do I need to go into PRINTCON and define the printer as the HP? Any thoughts are appreciated. mike
