Oddly enough, this never got into the docs that ship with OS/2 Warp.

They are documented in the Warp Programmer's toolkit. In the "Control
Program Guide And Reference", you can look up these sections:

	DosQueryExtLIBPATH
	DosSetExtLIBPATH
	Specifying an Extended LIBPATH
	Specifying Extended LIBPATHs

Anyway, OS/2 Warp has two LIBPATH "extensions". These are paths that
are searched before and after the LIBPATH that is stored in
config.sys. The DosQueryExtLIBPATH API lets you read them. The
DosSetExtLIBPATH lets you change them.

The command intperpreter, CMD.EXE, has a write-only interface to
this. You can use

	SET BeginLIBPATH=...
and	SET EndLIBPATH=...

to set the extended LIBPATH. BeginLIBPATH is searched before the
LIBPATH from config.sys. EndLIBPATH is searched afterwards.

You can not read the existing extended LIBPATHs using the command
line.

Note:

- Extended LIBPATHs only affect the session they're set in and child
sessions. You can not affect WPS, or any other running session with
them. Different sessions can have different extended LIBPATHs.

- There is NO way to change the base LIBPATH that is searhed between
the beginning and ending extended LIBPATHs without editing
  config.sys and rebooting.

- The extended LIBPATH (and all related interfaces to it) does not
exist at all on OS/2 versions prior to 3.0 (Warp).
