I recently got Chronos by Cascoly Software from byrd.mv.wvnet. For
those who haven't tried it: it's a DOS program for making historical
timelines. You feed it years for events and people and it makes
timelines out of them. Makes comparing various chronological events
easier.

I pretty soon bumped into the limits of the program. I don't have it's
readme file handy right now, but as I recall it has a 64K limit for
the size of your charts. Might be a limit due to DOS, or something,
can't remember. Anyway, the program is nifty, but it won't let me make
big enough charts. It chokes when events span a couple of hundred years.

I was wondering if anybody knew a comparable program, without the
annoying limitation? Preferably for OS/2. A unix source that I could
try to compile with OS/2 gcc might come into question, too.
