Nope, you can restore whatever you wish from the zip file.

>QFA then? Not to mention you need a large amount of free space to restore

I have that, and that should be obvious, unless you make smaller zip
files based on applications or directories.

That's right, and I pointed out that I don't need to do that often, some
people may need a finer tuning. Although I did pay some time penalty
this time, it is still les than fiddling with it every time. ANother
advantage is that I can run the zip backup overnight and stream it out
to tape later. It makes continous tape operation much easier (I got
lots of directories which slows down any backup software)

Btw., since I had your backup software unopened when I needed to backup
what was left on the first disk, I did rather not risk it and used gtak
and info-zip to save the data before attempting anything further.

If your total restore would work in one step, and if you said so, I
would be willing to install it to test. I looked thru the manual and
(Back Again/2 V3.0) and found it not to be straightforward, that's why I
decided against using it for now.

Tell me you can restore everything in one step onto a blank formatted
partition or entire disk without going thru additional troubles of
installing this and that, and I will consider setting it up. Then I
will post a review. It is cruicial that your creation of the boot
diskettes for that purpose be done by your software without me worrying
about adding this and that driver to the disks to make it work.

Best Regards,

Mustafa Soysal
