Because IBM seems to wait and release a product that a company
can use. How would IBM look if they released incomplete software
and its corporate customers couldn't use it or worst, they lost
money or lives because of it? Like Paul Mason, IBM tends to sell
not SOFTWARE before its time. Unlike Microsoft that releases the
PR way before the alpha is available and then sells the beta as
version 1.0. Soon there are soooo many fixes that within a year
the product is at version 3.0 or 4.0! Look at Internet Explorer
and Exchange for examples.
