Does anyone have any specific example code to determine whether or not a drive is removable? I'd need to be able to use it even if there were no media in the drive. Does such a thing exist?
Someone mentioned DosDevIOCtl() with a Category 8 and Function 20H, but according to the sparce online docs, this function needs to be called with a handle. Does this mean a handle of a file or device which has already been opened? If so, this would not meet my needs since it needs to work even without any media in the drive.
Thanks for any help on this.
