:>
:>a bit of info about my system:
:>it's a 486 DX/2-66, with four drives: A, B, C (540), D (210, with RAM
:>of 20Meg, Soundblaster 16, Creative Labs 4x-CD ROM. i installed Warp
:>with Win-OS/2.

I think the CL 4x is a Panasonic 574B, which is what I have at present. It
came with drivers for OS/2.

Besides the normal cdrom drivers that OS/2 installs you will need the
following file and statement in config.sys
BASEDEV=IBMIDECD.FLT

Which is the IDECDROM filter for the ST506 driver.
Also mine uses the following:BASEDEV=MKEATAPI.ADD

Now if you like email me and I'll uuencode the file and send it to you via
email.

Other than this play around with whether the drive will run as primary or
secondary etc, just stuff around with the jumpers.

Also to check the loading of device drivers at startup (when the little white
square is in the top corner) press ALT & F2 and it then shows each driver
being loaded.

Email if you need more help.

Regards,

Craig
