Definitely. Having scooped the early version and gotten past it's install
I can confirm that at least the 800x600x256 for ET4000 is fine - the 
colour palette is OK again, and some of the Orchid beta effects are
gone - I used to get a hang bringing DOS sessions up from the minimized
window on occasion, didn't happen with plain VGA - this is now history.
It is not what I would call blisteringly quick for things like re-painting
after a switch back from WinOS2, etc., but definitely faster in general
and quite livable, at least for me. Presumably optimizations will happen,
they certainly did for Win drivers.

And notebook pages and tabs are back to normal (they were transparent or
just bizarre with the beta for Win3.1) and, and, and, ...
wait for the Service Pack if you have an ET4000 card.
