In addition, Lan adapter and protocol support(LAPS) lets you use various network cards and comes with drivers for popular models. LAPS comes with TCP/IP and if your card isn't included, many manufactures provide drivers on disk with the card or that can be downloaded from their BBS. They are usually called xxxxx.os2 and xxxxx.nif The first is a device driver which you place in the config.sys and the second is a text file that works with your protocol.ini (which controls all the network configuration for OS/2). In addition there is an Xwindows interface that comes with TCP/IP which I am not familiar with. The ATI graphics ULTRA definitely works well with OS/2 2.0 Right now I am using an ATI 8514 ULTRA and TCP/IP to write this. An 8514 ULTRA is just a graphics ULTRA without the vga chip, so it depends on my Orchid prodes- ign IIs card to supply the VGA signal via a VGA pass-thru cable.
