You're a lot more likely to bust it this way than by washing it. I spilled yogurt on a keyboard once. First I wiped up as much as I could with a damp rag. Of course, the yogurt had already flowed in between the keys. Eventually it dried and, of course, many of the keys were stuck. While I was able to push some of the keys down, most of them didn't come back up. I pried one cap off and tried to clean it out but only succeeded in bending the spring and contacts. I bought a new keyboard and for some reason set the old one aside in my closet. Years later, I'm building a new PC. I temporarily need a 2nd keyboard. I say, "Hey, what about that old yogurt infested one." I get it out, keys still stuck. What have I got to lose? I take the keyboard into the shower with me, let it dry out for 24 hours, and it works!!! Except for the one key I pried off. I wish I had never tried that. Coulda saved myself $30. John G.
