Hi all, Another thing that I haven't seen mentioned... if you buy a decent keyboard, and don't want to worry about this, get one of the custom made covers such as SafeSkin. They're extremely unobtrusive, yet offer good protection against dirt, debris, your kid's Kool Aid, etc. I've had them on both my previous system (Gateway) and my current system (Austin P90), and am very satisfied. Also have one on my keyboard at work. Lots cheaper than a dishwaser, although I suppose you could pick up a cheap replacement keyboard for about the same money. I just prefer to keep the higher quality keyboard working for as long as reasonable, also cuts down on generating extra landfill just because I lost motor control temporarily and sloshed my coffee into the keyboard...
