I have several Mac based (but I'm terrified of UNIX) managers mounting these CAP created Appleshare volumes. I got them to setup a UNIX(NIS) userid and password but now some of these managers want to change their password. Novel idea but as soon as I mention the words: telnet, login and passwd, they look at me in disgust. They ask where is my direct manipulation GUI with dialog boxes to prompt for this information. So I'm asking you, are there any little routines out there to get this job done? --- ************************************************************* Brent Webster (CoDesign Tools & Modelling) Bell-Northern Research Ltd * Ph : (613) 763-4962 P.O.
