This problem (Mac Plus, System 7, MacTCP 1.1) has been floating around
for a LONG time without any answers (that I've seen on these groups
anyway). I came across the following information on the problem from
Dave Saunders at Intercon, and he's given me his permission to post it:

Can anyone think of any smart "fixes" to this? Anything as crude as
patching MacTCP's "DriverNeedTime" parameters? Slowing down the
vertical retrace interrupt? :-)
