Can PCs on Localtalk attach to Novell server (not as Mac clients)?

We have a large campus-wide net with an ethernet backbone, but
consisting largely of appletalk wiring to the dorms.  This year, in an
effort to network our PCs, we purchased Farallon's PhoneNET Talk cards
and connected them to a Mac server.

We'd prefer to connect the PCs to a Novell server, NOT as Mac clients,
but as regular PC clients, as if the PCs were on Ethernet.

Does anyone have experience with this?  Is such a configuration
possible?
