SRP - CRC

Hi Netters,
I am searching for two things:

(1) A simulation of the Selective Repeat Protocol written in ANY
computer language. It will be used to calculate and plot the efficiency
of the protocol vs. buffer size. (I know it's in Tanenbaum, but I'd
rather have it in anything else than Pascal).
(2) A piece of code that calculates CRC's for a given generator.

As I'm not reading this group I would like to have any responses
sent to panosv@theseas.ntua.gr
Thanx in advance :-)
