Hello everybody!

I am posting this article for a friend of mine who doesn't have access to the
net. As part of a course he is taking here, he is supposed to build a bi-direc-
tional communications protocol.

His inspiration for this comes from shareware protocols for the IBM PC, such as
BiModem and HS/Link.

His qiestion is: does anybody know of a source where he could get information as
to how to implement such a protocol. He was thinking of modifying Xmodem or a
similar protocol.

I will forward any answer/suggestions/tips/etc you could give me, either here
or at my email address.

Thanks,
Eelco.
