The understanding I have is that the "standard way" of formatting PPP over ISDN is synchronous. I'm also under the impression that some PPP protocol stacks only know how to do async framing. How do external, serially connected TA's handle this? Do they convert async PPP framing to synchronous framing? Can they support a PPP protocol stack which is sending down sync PPP formatted packets? -gls -- --- Gary L. Schaps <gls@rahul.net>
