Is it possible to use multilink ppp over two isdn modems, with linux pppd on each end? [linux (dialup)]<--[3com Impact]----isdn----[3com Impact]-->[linux (home)] 64k works great, getting reasonable trasnfer rates, but I'd like to try getting MPPP working, but I don't completely understand what I need to do. But first I need to know, does linux pppd have to support it? Alan Cox says it probably doesn't support it, which probably explains things. I do notice that when I do dial in (with MPPP enabled on the Impact) I get Apr 9 07:24:23 darktower pppd[16166]: rcvd [LCP ProtRej id=0x3 80 fd 01 01 00 04 bc 11] on the local end in syslogd. the one 64 B channel connection works. Any ideas on this one? -- ============================================================================ Liem Bahneman roland@ssc.com System Administrator http://www.ssc.com/~roland Specialized Systems Consultants/Linux Journal/WEBsmith (206) 782-7733
