I installed HP OpenView, and finished reading the two manuals that 
came with it but have a feeling I'm missing something! There must
be more than just displaying this nice colored map.

Can someone point me some docs for the novice net administrator;
books, rfcs, docs etc. are welcomed.

I have a snmp FAQ but didn't find much; it's dated 20 Nov 91 16:54:29 GMT.
