The  Data  Network  Performance Analysis Project (DNPAP) group
likes  to  invite  you  to  our  Birds Of a Feather session at
Interop  Fall  '92,  October  28th,  from  7:30pm  till  9:30,
Moscone Convention Center, room 114, San Francisco.

We will present the successor of the 'old' Beholder:

Beholder - The Next Generation or Beholder II for short.


Features of Beholder TNG:

  - runs under OS/2
  - SNMP-able over UDP/IP or OS/2 named pipes
  - RMON compliant
  - modular design: collectors and viewers are 
    completely separated


Three short talks will be held on:

  - the history of the Beholder project
  - the RMON implementation in the Beholder
  - the technical details of capturing network packets 
    under OS/2
  
Also, some near future enhancements will be discussed.
