The RMON spec for ethernet is RFC number 1271. It IS a valid RFC, and is currently under implementation by many (in fact, many implementations may currently be purchased). The RMON spec for Token Ring is NOT yet out of draft state. |> |> Anyone know where I can ftp the RMON specs. The draft version of the >MIB is available for ftp access on certain ftp servers (I don't remember which >ones). If you use archie to search for 'rmon' you should come up with the draft >document. Hope this helps.
