After a long fight I've managed to convince my higher powers that
connections to the outside world are a Good Thing. However, they
want us to have a 6 month trial, after which we will review its
usage. So, I'm looking for a way of getting ftp (and possibly
telnet and rlogin, but these aren't so important) to log:
o who invoked it
o from what machine it was invoked
o where did it connect to
o what was downloaded
I've thought about doing this with by writing a shell script wrapper to
ftp but I'm sure someone somewhere must already have done it.
Can someone point me in the right direction ?
Thanks
Paul.
