This is true and I've already looked at the possibility, but I handle 6
architecture/OS combinations and each handles login banners its own way.
Like an earlier posting stipulated, some login banners are limited in
size, so it just won't work to do that on all my systems.  I guess I
could just do it on my central machine (an RS6k), since that would be
the most likely entry point for an intruder.

One thing to note is that if someone were to breakin via a users remote
account (a la ~/.rhosts) a login banner would not be displayed.  So that
kills the login banner idea.
