It looks like the build process failed when it tried to run 'makeinfo'. The
'configure' script *should* check to see if makeinfo exists, and if not, it
shouldn't be used during the build. Not finding 'makeinfo' isn't suppose to
be a fatal error, since you don't need the info files to use ssh once it's
built and installed.

Did you run 'configure' on your machine, or did you 'borrow' the
distribution from another machine and use the configuration that had already
been set up?

If you borrowed the configuration from a different machine, get into the ssh
source directory and run 'make clean' followed by 'sh ./configure' to build
Makefiles, etc. to suit your system, then run 'make'. If you want to replace
rsh/rlogin/rcp with ssh equivalents (actually links to the ssh program),
check the INSTALL file for extra things to include with the configure scrips
as command line options.
