When you configured ssh on your machine, did you tell it the full path to
the original 'rlogin' command using the '--with-rsh=RSH-PATH' option? If you
did use this option, did you tell is the correct pathname?

Maybe it's not finding the original rsh program and not actually telling you
that this is the reason?
