KLA-Tencore, the leading supplier of Yield Management Information systems
to the Semiconductor industry has expanded its business in the area of
Software Information and Control Systems for Semiconductor manufacturing. 
A new division (Yield Analysis Systems Division) has been established 
to carry out this mission.

We are looking for an experienced software test engineer who will have the
responsibility for testing KLA-Tencore's advanced CIMA products (control
and information management systems) for the semiconductor test floor.
The person will work within the SQA team and with an experienced team of SW
developers in coming up with a comprehensive test plan for the CIMA products.
This person will also be responsible for all software builds of CIMA products
on UNIX platforms. One of the main charter of the SQA team is to develop/
deploy SW Testing automation.

The person will be responsible for testing CIMA's client server/database 
products, which include several application suites for test floor data 
management. The engineer will also be responsible for the generation of a 
large number of test suites/programs which will be used  data verification 
and validations.


QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
----------
Overall Work Experience as a Software QA: 5 years
Software Release and Configuration Management: 2 yrs.
C/Unix utilities, shell/ programming experience (Xwindows/Perl): 2 years
Experience in SQA automation: 2+ years.

Preferred:
-----------
Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Teamware and Clearcase.
Knowledge of testing C++/OO based products.
SQA background on Semiconductor Test Equipment.
(preferred probers/ATE, wafer inspection equipment etc.)
Experience with SQA testing of real time control SW.
Experience with SQA automation SW such as Mercury Interactive.
Person should be a self starter,who can work independently as well as in a
collaborative team environment.

Education: BS in EE/CS
