Reading all this saga makes me pleased I use Hewlett Packard :-)

Isn't one of the advantages of the latter, as a brand, that they incorporate
the head in the ink cartridge (or is is it just my oldish DeskJet that does
this)? In principle, this seems a more reliable method and the replacement
cartridges do not seem to be excessively expensive because of it.
