I am about to upload FreeCost 0.41 to both the FreeNet ftp
(http://strachey.ecs.soton.ac.uk:8080/ftp/freenet/) site, and my web
site (http://www.cheesey.demon.co.uk/).

FreeCost is a call coster that interprets the log files made by various
internet dialler programs, and outputs both a summary and detailed
information on how much the calls have cost.

Version 0.41 offers two new features. Firstly, the option to only
process the last call in the log file. And secondly, a real time display
of time and cost while you are online. This second feature needs
2 utility programs supplied with FreeDial to operate.

However, users of the other supported diallers (SlipDial and ANT) can
use the rest of the program, and if they obtain the 2 utilites from
FreeDial they can also use the online timer feature.

Full instructions are provided, and FreeCost is fully configurable to
deal with any telecoms provider etc.

Feedback on FreeCost is always welcome.
