I've now discovered the true cause of the problem and fixed it.  I've
updated the 1.90 release archive and 1.81to1.90 patch archives.

For people who have the original 1.90, a tiny (3K) patch is available on my
FTP server (temploader_fix.arc).  You only need this if you have downloaded
version 1.90 or the 1.81 to 1.90 patch.
