Cheers, Brian : Ha. I phoned them up about my dead EZ135, on the advice of Castle : Technology, and I spoke to a really obnoxious bloke, who effectively told : me to stick my drive up my arse! (What he actually said was that they : wouldn't touch the drive unless I'd bought it from them direct, which was : exactly the opposite of what Castle said) My first 270 Mb Syquest started playing up about seven months after I had bought it and Syquest wouldn't touch it - again because I hadn't bought it direct. They were very pleasant though and advised me to contact the supplier (Technology Matrix) as it had a two year warranty. Technology Matrix asked me to reurn the drive to them and sent me a replacement by return, without any quibbles. They in turn would be sending the faulty one to Syquest. I presume Castle Technology should replace the drive under warranty and send the faulty one back to Syquest. Either that or send it away on your behalf.
