   I must admit I too have been mildly irritated by this. My thought was that
menu should bring up the standard menu for the currently selected drive,
shift-menu should bring up the drive list.

   The only thing I don't like about shift-menu clicking is that it means you
have to use the mouse and the keybaord to access drives quickly without cycling
through them. But I can live with that. :)
