This may have been said already, sorry if it has! :-)

Zip discs can be formated Acorn or DOS, and the DOS discs can be accessed by
the Acorn filer. Unfortunately, though, it really is pretty slow at reading
DOS formated discs. We've dumped DOS files from our RPC's PC card on to our
DOS zip disc without problems (touch wood). Plus Iomega's PC software seems
to be pretty good! :-)

One T or two in 'formated'? Hmmmm. Formated? Formatted? Oh hum! ;-)
