The solution to the install problem is easy, just put the ARM 600 back
in and install then swap the processor cards back. However, this
didn't strike me at the time when under pressure to prepare for work
the following week and with a son needing to print his A level music
technology scores with a deadline by the exam board 2 days later.
Luckily I have a 540 and reinstalled Sibelius on that. Why no message
on a note with the update disc? Why no patch and message on the web
site? Why no reply to my E-mail? In comparison with the support I have
had from Stephen Borrill with Melidi, the Sibelius efforts are woeful.
They don't even take the trouble to read their own customer discussion
forum. They might have a good product but their customer support
seems to me more akin to my experiences with the M$ world.

This is unacceptable in a professional product. What happens if the
customer happens to be in a country where there is no easy access to
Sibelius and his disc develops a fault. The DoggySoft system of
password access to a user up date area via the net is far better,
their support is much better and their product is much much cheaper.
