Does anyone know how long existing stocks of J233s are expected to last?

I think I'd better get one and soup my existing RPC up to weather the test
of time. 

How long do Acorn say they will support existing machines, eg availability
of spare parts, etc? 

My main worry now is how long before some of the "big" acorn related
companies deceide to do a CC.
