Memory Protection does allow the OS to keep a reign on badly behaved tasks,
and to prevent one bad task from bringing the whole of the OS tumbling after
it due to side-efects.

Memory leaks are common and are not always a symptom of bad coding. They could
be undetected bugs from the OS,compiler, assembler add on-products.

Sure the amiga has a motif'y workbench, but the underlying OS (AmigaOS) seems
to be very similar to the earlier versions. Has it kept up pace with the
improvements in the pointy-click GUI?

A feature I could well do without is the Software Error screen.
