There's third party documentation on using Lightwave and the Toaster
available.   Might be worth it.

Newtek's new AURA might be of intererst.  The press release said it
will let you add effects to an animation no matter what the source, so
your Brilliance stuff could be souped up with it, maybe.

I don't know much about this stuff.  Hope this helps.
