OS 3.x preference files are incompatible with early pref files. I'm surprised the Installer didn't take care of this. Try: Rename SYS:Prefs/Env-Archive SYS:Prefs/Env-Archive_OLD Or, delete SYS:Prefs/Env-Archive/pointer.prefs Reboot IF> Thanks in advance for any information. You aren't running any non-Com commodities or hacks, are you? NickPrefs is a no-can-do with 3.x. There is a new PointerX to make the busy clock and an updated ARQ that work with 3.x. Hope this helps.
